Day: Tuesday - 9th September-7th October - 5 week course
Cost: Total of £50.00 for the 5 lessons / Time: 3.30pm - 4.30pm / Open: Yr 1 - Yr 6
Contents: This exciting, innovative project is where Ronald Dahl meets Banksy!The children will create a stunning piece of art on wood, incorporating the illustrations of Ronald Dahl with the Graffiti art of Banksy! Each child will learn how to use stencils, child friendly spray paint, producing wonderful drawings and paintings, as well as creating a brick wall background whilst incorporating a wall mural image on their work. The children will learn many different applications of mediums in this project which they will love!
Materials: Using spray paint, acrylic paint, stencils and pen on a wooden surface
Learning outcomes: Each student will learn how to create composition, proportion, merging two artists in one, application on wooden surface and using learning, listening and fine motor skills.
ARTISTS: Born 17 October 1974, Banksy is a pseudonymous England-based street artist, political activist, and film director whose real name and identity remain unconfirmed and the subject of speculation.
Roald Dahl, born 13 September 1916, was a British author of popular children's literature and short stories, a poet, screenwriter and a wartime fighter ace. His books have sold more than 300 million copies worldwide. He has been called "one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century".

Emmylou is a professional artist who has been teaching art for over 20 years on how to create their very own masterpiece. Introducing students to the influences and techniques of famous artists and incorporating these methods in their own work.
Throughout courses, and depending on the material for that project, your child will explore the potential of different materials throughout each course.
