Terms & Conditions

The Terms and Conditions below apply to all Aurora Shine Online, School Workshops, External Holiday Workshops, Parties and Private Tuition. Online Live Art Coaching clients will be issued a separate agreement to sign. By making a booking customers are agreeing to the terms and conditions below:

Bookings and Payment:

Bookings can be made online through the website www.aurorashineonline.com, but some workshop booking requests can be emailed. Please ensure all information provided on the bookings page is correct. This must include a current email address, emergency contact phone number for the parent/guardian and detailed information on any allergies, medical conditions and special educational needs of the person attending the art club, course or workshop. Customers can pay by Paypal, Card, cash or cheque. Once the booking form is complete, customers will receive their confirmation booking email.

Although Aurora Shine Online tries to ensure that every student has a place on the art workshops, if a particular workshop becomes fully booked, clients will have the option to be placed on a waiting list.

Bookings will typically open on the website www.aurorashineonline.com three weeks prior to the start of the first session and this date will be communicated to adult student, parents/guardians through either school parent-mail, personal email, newsletters or flyers.

Collections from after school and Holiday workshops - (Not Online Art Coaching):

It is the parent/guardians responsibility to collect their child from the after school art workshop on time. Charges apply for late collections. If the parent/guardian wishes for their child to be collected by someone else then please inform Emmylou either by email through the website or by phone or text on 07949293463

Cancellations and Refunds:

After a booking and payment has been made the customer has a cooling off period of 7 working days to make a cancellation if they so wish in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

To cancel a booking customers can email e@emmylouart.com or use the contact form on the website. A full refund will be provided if the request is made within 7 days of the initial booking. If a cancellation is made during the project time-frame then no refund is given.

Emmylou will try her best to catch up children who miss club sessions so that their art work is completed to the best standard possible. No refunds are given for missed sessions.

Private clients may cancel a lesson 12 hours prior to the lesson with no charge applicable. However, if a client cancels a lesson after the 12 hour period then the full lesson fee is applicable.


Aurora Shine Online will do her best to ensure that students clothing is protected from the art materials used, however we accept no responsibility for any damage to your child’s clothing before, during or after any our workshop sessions.
